Wireless Internet Terms

By using the Wireless Internet access at Hungerford Youth and Community Centre, or any Hungerford Youth and Community locations, you agree to the below terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the below terms and conditions, do not connect to any of our access points.

WiFi hotspots (known as WiredWireless) are provided free of charge in Hungerford Youth and Community Centre by the Wired Rock Café & Youth Club to it’s members, and as a courtesy to other users of Hungerford Youth and Community Centre.

You are informed that members of the Wired Rock Café & Youth Club have network priority over other users of the network both in terms of physical access and logical traffic prioritisation. The Wired Tech Team will not unreasonably reduce network speed for other users, and will maintain a balanced priority for all users. This will be subject to the number of users on the system, the speed of the incoming internet connection, and the time of day regarding the Internet Service Provider.

You are informed that all internet-bound and internal traffic is monitored and will be filtered for suitability as seen fit by the Wired Tech Team. Sites will not be blocked without reason, but should you discover a site that you feel should be unblocked either wholly or partially then an application should be made to the Wired Tech Team via Hungerford Youth and Community Centre Helpdesk (available at http://www.hungerfordyc.org.uk/helpdesk). Any decisions about the suitability will be made by the System Administrator, and all decisions are final.

You are reminded that WiFi passwords are subject to change without notice and it is your responsibility to check that the password you are using is still current and correct.

You are informed that your device’s Wireless Interface MAC address will be captured along with the device’s make and model for security and service improvement reasons. In the event that Wired Rock Café & Youth Club deem that they should remove this WiFi access from you for any reason, your device’s MAC address will be used to facilitate blocking of access. You may appeal against blocking of your device through Hungerford Youth and Community Centre Helpdesk (available at http://www.hungerfordyc.org.uk/helpdesk).. Any decisions will be made by the System Administrator, and all decisions are final.

By using our WiFi hotspots (known as WiredWireless) access point, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions listed above. This is not an exhaustive list, and the Wired Tech Team reserve the right to amend these terms without notice and as they see fit.
